We are excited to announce?and?invite you to get your nominations in for the 2024? Women in Governance Awards.

In our 9th year, these are the?only awards in New Zealand celebrating women in governance. These awards celebrate governance excellence and leadership, and commitment to gender diversity and equality by women and organisations.

The nominations for six categories are open now -

- NOT-FOR-PROFIT GOVERNANCE LEADER -?Sponsor:?Cybercraft.

- MāORI GOVERNANCE LEADER?-?Sponsor:?Te Puni Kōkiri

- PACIFIC GOVERNANCE LEADER?-?Sponsor:?Ministry for Pacific Peoples.

- ETHNIC COMMUNITIES’ GOVERNANCE LEADER -?Sponsor:?Ministry for Ethnic Communities.

Nominations?can?be made?either by self-nomination?or by being proposed by another person (proposer nomination). This is your invitation to think about who you know that is making a difference and deserves recognition and celebration. It is your chance to shout about fellow women, wāhine,?女人, fafine or ??????? that you know and shine a light on their governance journeys.?

The finalists and award winners are celebrated at a gala dinner on 19 September 2024, Suffrage Day.
