Nominated to the Cobb County Historic Preservation Commission

This week I was appointed by The Cobb Board of Commissioners to the Historic Preservation Commission. This is an exciting opportunity to get to know a lot of the history of Cobb County plus seeing a lot of these Architectural Places all around our area. In many ways it will actually be learning a lot of the history on how many of towns were formed in this area and seeing so many of these Homes, Towns & Mill Buildings too.

There are a number of locations that date back before the Civil War including a old single lane Covered Bridge we actually drove over today.

But I'm looking forward to having a very insightful time and getting to know so much more about our areas near us.
