Nolwenture joins NORDIC INNOVATION HOUSE Singapore and recap on the past 2 weeks in SE Asia

Writing from Finnair’s lounge at Helsinki-Vantaa airport and looking forward to completing the last leg of the journey home from SE Asia, some brief reflections in the past 2 weeks and some thanks and acknowledgements to be made.

The trip started way in advance with briefings on the vertical market focus of construction and buildings held in Brussels by the EU Business Avenues team, with further research and approaching clients and partners to fill the diaries before departing.

The first days in Singapore catching up with old friends and our first and most excellent reference in Singapore MOGUL.sg - a cutting-edge Real Estate platform harnessing geospatial technology to digitally enable home buyers, home renters, property sellers and Property agents in Singapore to search and sell in a SMART and hassle-free manner. The EU organised a serious of presentations, small exhibition with the best 50 firms from EU in the sector along with an evening reception.

On to Manila, Philippines for PhilConstuct, where we had "top billing" and I had the pleasure to present insights and give examples of Nolwenture’s work in digital transformation in the construction industry, I even snuck in some local North Karelia images of the wooden architecture from our region, and was able thanks to the likes of our customer's Abloy and Assetti to reference that we work across start ups, scale ups and large organisations.

Meeting with the President of the Philippines Construction Industry reinforced the will and plans in place to embrace digital transformation such as to help with the 30 year plan to develop their infrastructure.

Back in Singapore for SFFx SWITCH, an amazing event with some 60 000 visitors and 1000 exhibitors come together for FinTech festival, HealthTech and Circular Economy streams, where we had a presence at the Nordic Innovation House. Personally I was very encourage to see so much focus on sustainable finance and great discussions took place with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, more to follow!
