Nokia's Women's Leadership Program

How cool is it when someone nominates you for something? I feel really lucky to have recently been nominated to participate at Nokia's Women's Leadership Program. It is a six month adventure and we are going to be exploring a number of topics throughout the course.?

Continuing to Develop, Build and Exercise my Strengths

This course is going to cover anything from how to lead authentically to how to deal with self-doubt, how to deal with feedback, how to give and receive feedback, and topics about leadership. I think that it is so cool that I got chosen, I feel really special in that sense, but also that it is an opportunity for me to become a better and more rounded person.? I am so excited that I can bring my whole authentic self to work and be an inspiration to my colleagues.? I can continue to develop, build and exercise my strengths.???

Becoming a Better Employee and Leader

Being part of Nokia’s Women’s Leadership Program will help develop opportunities to make me a better employee and a better leader. It is going to be a great opportunity to engage with other female leaders.

I am very excited, six months does seem like a long time, but it will be time that is specifically dedicated to this development and to this expanding of horizons. I look forward to these next few months, it is a really, really exciting development and I look forward to telling you what I learned.
