In A Noisy World Become a Caveman

Hello Triber ????,
I bring you greetings from my small cove somewhere on God's green earth. I have been meaning to share a thing or two from new knowledge gained in the last couple of months. My goal is not to make this article long and boring, I would definitely never do that. But one thing is sure - You can always expect me to share deep insights with clarity while keeping my writing as succinct as possible. Today's article's topic might sound rather counter-intutive but trust me it just might be the information you never knew you needed.
Introduction
The world is increasingly becoming a noisy place. Advertisement has almost drowned creative information. It takes more work, effort, and dedication to filter through the debris to see value. On the other end of the entire marketing avalanche and noise, is the kind of information capable of changing your life pretty much instantly. But to get through the trash requires that you do things differently or at least become someone different - A Caveman.
Caveman?
The first notion of cavemen might be that of barbarism, an untamed mind, etc. Regardless of how you want to look at it, our ancestors were once cavemen. It means that despite the obvious perspective, with which we view cavemen - our spontaneous evolution and increase in knowledge over generations would never have been possible if we never went through that phase in history.
If our ancestors were not cavemen and were as distracted as we currently are, we would not have the meals we enjoy today, the clothing we wear, and the basic things that make human life possible.
All the caveman had to do was focus on a few things that were necessary. Gaining mastery in a few basic things then made the other complex things easier to accomplish over time.
In our generation today, we have so much information and resources at the click of a button and what this does is that it can deny us the ability to observe what really matters for our individual paths. The resources needed to get you to your goals are often times very few, but if you keep juggling across a lot of things you will never have the time to build mastery in anything, talk more about achieving the goals that really matter to you.
It's an age where everything needs to have a podcast, book, YouTube channel, TikTok, Twitter space, newspaper column, commercials, etc While these are important for building a business or brand, note that every brand whether a business or personal needs to first of all master the basics in a particular sphere of influence before building layers of complexity. Focusing on the basics, the few resources that matter while decluttering every distraction is what I mean by becoming a CAVEMAN.
Like Naval Ravikank says -
To a caveman few things are resources
An overabundance of options and a total lack of options are two places you don't want to be in. Filter through the noise and select only the resources that are essential to what you want to build or who you want to become.
Once you achieve the things that really matter at the infrastructural level, you can then evolve to increase the complexity but this will require employing other people's time while you stay focused on the few decisions and things that matter.

In Conclusion
There is so much we can build if we decide to focus on the essentials. Cavemen evolved into building pyramids, hanging gardens, irrigation systems, mind-boggling temples, and much more which we consider as engineering marvels today. Simply because they focused on the foundation level knowledge - and mastered it long enough before adding new layers of complexity.
Like Cal Newport espouses the concept of "MINIMALISM" as a tool for finding clarity and building systems - choose to focus on a few things with laser-like attention and avoid the status game and distraction from the media.
See you in the next article,
Best Regards,
