The Noise Around You is Not Your Truth!!!

The Noise Around You is Not Your Truth!!!

Every day, we are surrounded by noise - gossip, false accusations, external influences, and the opinions of those who barely know us. And yet, too often, people choose to listen to that noise rather than their own inner voice. They assume, they interpret, and they create entire stories beyond imagination.

In doing so, they lose themselves.

They waste precious time allowing external gossip to define their lives, letting it dictate their emotions and decisions. They lose their self-respect, their dignity, and their integrity. They become disloyal, to themselves and to those who truly matter. They become disrespectful and, ultimately, disappointing, not just to others, but to the person they once were.

All it takes is a single spark, one impulsive, dramatic fabrication, to light a fire of destruction. And yet, the people who fuel that fire fail to realize that the first match was nothing more than a reckless, emotional reaction. They burn bridges, friendships, and opportunities without ever pausing to question if what they heard was even real.

It’s time to grow up.

Think about yourself. Think about your life. Think about how far you want to go. Loyalty is not just a virtue, it is the foundation of your character. The truth is, gossiping, lying, and cheating will never take you far. It may give you short-term satisfaction, but it will leave you empty in the long run.

And the most dangerous part?

People who live through assumptions and gossip don't even realize how much they are diminishing themselves. They normalize it, believing it is acceptable. But let me tell you, it is not.

Stop listening to negativity.

Every individual has their own mind, their own way of thinking, and their own path. Do not allow someone else's version of a situation to become your truth.

Do not let someone else’s negativity shape your reality.

You are your own person. You work hard, you strive harder, and life rewards you accordingly.

I recently read Surrounded by Idiots by Thomas Erikson. The book explores four personality types - Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green.

One of its most powerful insights is how we assume others process information the same way we do. But that is not true. We naturally align with those who think like us, yet we struggle to understand those who don’t.

And that’s where the problem begins.

Instead of seeking understanding, people choose to assume. Instead of clarifying, they choose to interpret. Instead of thinking independently, they allow others to dictate their perception.

So how do you rise above it?

  • Think for yourself. Stop letting others shape your reality. Pause. Reflect. Make your own decisions.
  • Surround yourself with strong, positive people. Your circle matters. If your environment thrives on gossip, you will too.
  • Practice loyalty and integrity. Being true to yourself and others will take you further than any shortcut ever will.
  • Detach from drama. You are not obligated to participate in every conversation or every rumor. Protect your energy.
  • Focus on growth. Invest your time in learning, improving, and striving for the life you envision. That’s how you build a future, not through hearsay and meaningless chatter.

To the young generation, your reality is yours to create.

Do not shape it based on the assumptions, interpretations, and gossip of others.

Your choices today determine the life you’ll have tomorrow.

Make sure you’re building something you’ll be proud of.

The noise around you is just that - NOISE. Let it fade.

Listen to yourself. That’s where your truth lies.

The focus must be on growth, building genuine connections and fostering positivity SHERYL It takes a conscious effort to break this cycle, and we can only do so by?choosing kindness, seeking truth, surrounding ourselves with the right people, and standing up for what's right.
