Node.js is a cross-platform, open-source server environment that can run on Windows, Linux, Unix, macOS, and more. Node.js is a back-end JavaScript runtime environment, runs on the V8 JavaScript engine, and executes JavaScript code outside a web browser.Nodes are in the DOM aka Document Object model. In the DOM, all parts of the document, such as elements, attributes, text, etc. are organized in a hierarchical tree-like structure; consisting of parents and children. These individual parts of the document are known as nodes.
