Nobody values you

Yes. Nobody in this world, values you. That might come as a harsh truth lately, but to stay awake till then is a task nobody excels at. You might be breaking barriers and creating revolutions, but people don’t care, the world doesn’t care until it’s their need which is getting complete.

Nobody, even our moms don’t value us. You know why? The very reason behind this is not appealing though but has significant glances to think upon.

COMPARISON — Stands to be that one word, everybody does knowingly or unknowingly.

Your moms would compare you to your friends, relatives, long distance cousins and even your office mates. To her, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing, but what your xyz friend is doing has to be a task you should ace at. I choose mom because we believe she is the one who has faith in her child. But NO. That faith has been snatched by this word, which is creating nothing but miseries.

I was surprised when my mom did the same. A day before, while sipping tea in the evening, glancing at how beautiful the sunsets are, I told mom about what my colleagues are into. Two of them were working hard day & night to crack government examinations, while three of them were on the job hunt and were now acing at their skills. It was not my fault, it was the cup’s capacity, which broke me & my mom into discussing things I’m not doing. She in a moment or so, brought me to realize, how moron I have become. She glued all the instances she could fill her brain with, on my mind. She said:

• You’re not preparing for any competitive exams. ~ You will never lead a peaceful life
• You’re not good at job hunt skills. ~ How will you land a job offer from Amazon?
• Government Jobs are the best. ~ You’ll have to struggle hard to earn

And many more points were rushing through her veins like a fire which urged me to burn. I was there, staring at the empty cup, now cursing its capacity. The sunset which appeared so exuberantly pretty, was now smashing my mind with the thought of Why? Why did I start this conversation?

I was surprised as to why mom has to take the other side always! I was beating others in a far better way. Deep down she also knew this. I have multiple offers from multiple streams to work on, yet she chose to compare me. In a minute she forgot about the hard work I was doing to make my clients happy. This was the moment, I realized nobody values you. Nobody, not even your closest will take your side when in need. It has to be you and your mind which can continue to sail the boat otherwise you’re drowning.

“Believe” is a strong word and when amalgamated with the utter hard work & pains we undertake, gives the strong feeling of awaiting success.

Believe in yourself.

Believe in your ideas.

Believe that you could do almost all things with 100% perfection.

Doesn’t matter how many times you fail.

How many times your gut feeling fails.

It is only your mind that respects you!

The mind which can lift mountains, the mind which can create revolutions, the mind which just knows how to, the mind which doesn’t fear to fall is awaiting a single ray of hope to rise again.

Do not worry about people, this world knows how to complain. People merely play a role, if it’s the mind which has the determination to excel. The world stands as it is, it’s only a matter of fact, that the world changes. Nobody will ever change. Neither the objects around you nor the flocking minds. It just comes down to how we take up things, how we make up our minds. Until then nothing can be changed.

The emphasis has to be on how we think to continue. There are more than a million reasons to get compared with or to complain. But you know: “Ignorance is a bliss.”

Become resistant to what others say.

Be confident enough to give your mind an answer to conceive the truth.

Continue on the path you’ll find peace.

After all, Happiness is that one thing this soul seeks.

So get onto the ride you always wanted to. Break the thoughts of how this universe thinks you’re. And let your conscience be a single pillar to depend on.
