Nobody Accepts Change...
the world is a very big place waiting for one single event to change the tides... Be that change, Rebel.

Nobody Accepts Change...

So there is this book… it’s called, “Who Moved My Cheese”.

Maybe you’ve heard of it?

It tells the story of 4 characters living in a dark maze, all looking for cheese to survive and live out their lives.?

Sniff, Scurry, Hem, and Haw.

The greatest Rebel names ever given!

One morning, after a lot of searching, they locate a huge storage container full of cheese.?

A place they end up heading out to every morning to eat, and have a good time.?

For Sniff and Scurry, cheese meant food - plain and simple.

But for Hem and Haw, cheese meant food, status, class, power, etc.?

They started planning their future and built their dreams around that cheese…

And life was seemingly good, until one day… they woke up and found that all the cheese was gone without a trace.?

Sniff and Scurry weren’t too bothered and simply started to look for a new cheese source.?

But Hem and Haw on the other hand were devastated…

They asked around the neighborhood if anyone saw anything…

Spent days grieving over it, losing their literal minds, refusing to accept what had happened.?

Meanwhile, Sniff and Scurry found another storage full of cheese… Even bigger than the one before.

For those two it was simple…

They didn’t have food, so they went searching for it.?

Then, they found food and were no longer searching for it.?

And one day, they didn’t have food so it was time to search for it again.?

However, Hem and Haw spent loads of time worrying over something that they had lost and were not going to get back.?

The point to this Rebellious story??

Cheese is obviously a metaphor because often in life we don’t welcome change into our lives.?

When something changes, we tend to react like Hem and Haw…

Wasting time out of our lives grieving something that we have lost…

Trying to change something we can’t…

It’s a harsh reality we all face.?

This story is just a reminder that your life will constantly change…

…and your journey will not always go as planned.?

Today you might be on an upward trajectory and headed toward the best year ever in your sales career…

Tomorrow you might get passed over, burnt out, filled up with anxiety, and instead start heading toward your worst year yet.?

And when those moments come... Your best bet to weather the storm is to take a page out of Sniff and Scurry’s book.?

Because what matters most is the attitude we choose to have during the change we are experiencing.

If your cheese is gone, simply go out there and start looking for new cheese.?

Remind yourself of the aspirations you seek to achieve… Your goals, Your dreams… And never forget to remember WHY you choose to stay the course.?

Find that power within yourself to go back to the basics, focus on the fundamentals, and overcome the battles you are met with.?

Here is how a Rebel defines the basics:

  • Work on your communication, both internal and external. Work on your listening skills, your problem solving skills…
  • Practice empathy and compassion daily with yourself and others…
  • Focus on giving experiences and building relationships that last.
  • And adopt the mindset of a servant leader.?

Because, Rebel… Sales is not a game and you are not simply one of its players…

Sales is about changing lives, connecting with people, and having an impact the relationships you build.?

This is where your Rebellion begins…
