Noble team members attended the 10th Annual BioHealth Capital Region Forum on September 17-18, 2024, at US Pharmacopeia. The event gathered leaders from government, academia, and the biotech industry to discuss the current state of the industry, and to drive growth in the biopharma sector. In attendance was Virginia's Governor Glenn Youngkin, who was honored with the 2024 Biotechnology Innovation Organization Governor of the Year Award.


The event was filled with a lineup of engaging speakers, including Albine Martin with Accelevir, who spoke on the Entrepreneurs in Residence Supporting the BHCR Ecosystem panel. The team appreciated the chance to network with attendees and gained valuable insights and connections.

2024 Crab Trap Pitch Competition Recap


A key highlight of the BioHealth Capital Region Week, is the Crab Trap Competition, held on day 2 of the Conference and featured six innovative startups pitching their groundbreaking solutions to a panel of expert judges.?

Congratulations to the winner,?Linshom Medical, who received a cash prize of $10k from Wilson Sonsini.?

Along with the top prize this year, the judges announced, Cerillo, a company specializing in cutting-edge solutions for microbial research, as the winner of the CRO Services Prize from Noble Life Sciences and Accelevir. In partnership, the company awarded the winner $10K in CRO preclinical services.


A big round of applause for both winners whose presentations were truly inspiring. Their innovative solutions showcased the potential to make significant impacts in the biohealth industry. We’re excited to see how their groundbreaking ideas will advance patient care and drive progress in the field.?
