If you're posting content on your Facebook Profile and you want more people to see it than you need to pay attention. ???

Here are a few added tips to one of my previous posts.

Facebook's platform was created to create a good user experience. Therefore, Facebook rewards people that are creating a good experience and a good environment.

If you're posting good educational and interactive content that your audience engages with by liking and commenting, Facebook will show your posts to a lot more people.

Recently, I have had a few people asking me how they can get more engagement and how to get more people to see their content.

If you want results, you've got to go out and get those results and the best way to do it is by being consistent and provide value to your audience. Figure out what value you can give to your target audience, by posting diverse content in your niche and create an interactive dialog with them. Once you figure out what your audience likes, focus all in on that.

It is important to post quality over quantity. Now the most difficult part for people is knowing what sort of posts to come up with that will work. If you want to get a good idea go to your biggest competitor’s page and see what content they are posting. REMEMBER: Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, just modify it to make it better!

Spend time engaging with your friend's posts by liking and commenting to warm up the Algorithm. (TIP- likes hardly count with the algorithm, rather use one of the other emojis (heart, care, etc.) instead of a like button. However, keep in mind, that doesn't mean you should go like and comment on every single person's posts, especially posts that you don't even find to be interesting. Be genuine, when doing this. FB knows how long it takes to read the post so do not rush it.

This way once you decide to post your content FB has warmed up, and you will get more eyeballs on your post.

Having the right audience plays a crucial part. If you don't have the audience to start off with, you won't get the engagement you’re looking for. Become friends with people in your target audience.

This next tip is VERY important that MANY people overlook.

Create Micro Content. Micro Content gets people to stay in the feed, instead of posting links and sending people to a blog post to read a full article that most won't finish reading. Summarize that information into a quick but valuable read for them. Be sure to put it in your own words.

It helps a ton when there are no sections left blank. Let people see the real you. People who visit your profile want to get to know you. Make sure your profile picture and cover photo are pictures of you. If you have a random image people will not be able relate and therefore hard for them to engage with your content.
