Are your workers handling the Heat?

As the year starts to heat up, engage with your people on ways to control the risk of harm -

  • Relocate work to cooler areas
  • Schedule smartly to work in cooler times of day
  • Modify targets to account for conditions
  • Use automation or mechanisation to reduce manual labour requirements
  • Update and encourage rest breaks
  • Don’t let people work alone (if possible)

Share videos or infographics where possible, not just written words to enhance awareness.
