Started by the man known best as “Pops” Hill, the original Hill Transportation transformed to Hill Bros., Inc., in 1986 when ownership was assumed by brothers Pete, Albert, Pat and Jim. “That’s when the company really began to focus on moving freight 365,” says Jesse Boyer, vice president of Hill Bros. Earlier this month, Alan Martinez was named the Nebraska State Star for the America's Small Business Development Center (ASBDC) Network. The SBDC State Star Award is the highest recognition for individual achievement within America's SBDC Network.?

Martinez is the first dedicated bilingual consultant at NBDC supporting Spanish-speaking business owners across Nebraska as they start, grow, and transition their businesses.
