What is No-Code AI: Data Science for Business Users?

No-Code AI as the name says is about building AI with zero code. The real deal with No-Code AI is that you as a business or product manager or UX designer or business analyst can learn data science and focus on solving real business problems.

Why should you get excited about No-Code AI?

As a Technology Futurist, I am always looking for future trends to find gaps to innovate where you can CareerPivot to new jobs and do something disruptive and fun in your industry. You have heard me write, teach and talk about Internet of Things (IoT), Cognitive IoT, Autonomous Vehicles, AI in the car, Artificial Intelligence for Product and Business Managers (covering all industries) at Stanford Continuing Studies progressively over the years. This year I began teaching AIX (UX in AI) and AI Ethics at Barcelona Technology School additional to Stanford Continuing Studies and have added courses about Business of AV data, AIX, MLUX, Capstone AI Lab and now the No-Code AI: Datascience for Business users at the Business School of AI.

AI is pervasive and there is a growing gap between data scientists, ML Engineers and the business roles. No-Code AI fills the gap.

No-Code or low-code is a trend with technologists automating everything with simple to use user interface with the ability to build application without programming. No-Code AI started as automated of Machine Learning model selection with what is called as AutoML (Automated Machine Learning).

Wait, what does it have to do with business users?

No-Code AI platforms allow business users to build AI models. Without involving a data scientist.

I use IBM AutoML and Akkio No-Code AI platforms in my online classes. No-Code AI creates a model in the cloud and offers a Saas usage based subscription pricing model. What happens with AutoML on the edge with Mobile Machine Learning models?

How do you value incremental pricing for an AI model on the cloud? Simple. You start with understanding the value created from the AI solving your business problem.

There are so many questions. So many possibilities. In building AI products. In crafting AI solutions. In measuring business value created. All calling for you, the business user!
