NNNOOOO to National Popular Vote

With so many on the left attacking the Electoral College, I am leading the effort to protect and support it in the Arizona Legislature. My House Resolution, HCR2004, passed 6-4 in the Elections Committee. Sadly, while all six Republicans voted Yes, all four Democrats voted No. I truly wish more people understood the history of the Electoral College and why it is so important to protecting our state's rights. I suppose many on the left prefer an overpowering federal government with powerless states, but this is a fight we will continue to fight, because the outcome really does matter.
