NMT Shipping Take On Breakbulk Europe 2024

And once again, Breakbulk Europe was here, and this time, so was NMT’s new look! With the great help and hard work from everyone involved, NMT certainly was able to stand out and give the audience a new perspective on the industry!

Martin Malmi , NMT Finland, said “Breakbulk is always a great chance to meet with so many customers, partners and colleagues. There is always someone new who you have never met before and at the same time people whom you have known for more than 20 years. I always look forward to BB even if it is a somewhat long and exhausting few days, but well worth the effort”

So colleagues from all around the globe jumped on the plane (or in their cars) and made their way to the Rotterdam Ahoy in The Netherlands. A big three-day show, containing lots of catching up, putting names to the faces, seeing familiar faces as well as new and getting the job done. Followed by an NMT Group meal on the first night, and a company, client and supplier meal on the second, in true NMT fashion of course.

Ivan Bertran Salado , NMT Spain, said “I would like to thank you for letting me be at Breakbulk. It was nice to see all of you again after such a long time and have the chance to share memories and experiences from all these years. Time runs fast, and we do not realize it until we get opportunities like this.

Also, having the chance to meet several clients and colleagues that we do not get to meet as much as we would like to. And they have been able to see that as we previously informed, NMT is not just Spain but belongs to a huge shipping group. Hope to see all of you soon and thanks for these days!”

ANNMARIE HARKIN , from NMT Ireland who also attended the show, said “This was my 2nd time attending Breakbulk and I found it even better than the first time. Breakbulk 2024 was a great success for NMT, the stand was fantastic and a lot of clients/contacts who visited commented on the stand this year.??

For myself, the show was great to meet up with contacts and friends who we otherwise don’t get to meet face to face. We had some very good meetings which I believe will also go a long way in improving our relationships with both clients and contacts at different carriers.

It was also very good for meeting our colleagues in other NMT offices some of whom we deal with daily but have never met in person. Hopefully, this will help improve communication between the offices as I feel we have built on relationships already there and established new ones with some colleagues we only deal with from time to time.

I feel I have got a lot out of the show this year and look forward to the next. Thanks to Vicky and all those involved for their hard work in making our stand great and very hospitable to all who visited us.?
