NMIMS JOURNEY CONCLUDED

As my journey at NMIMS, Indore, comes to an end, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the respected faculty and colleagues who mentored and supported me throughout this transformative experience. This journey was far from easy; it was filled with numerous ups and downs. I faced significant challenges, including failing a few exams, which initially demotivated me. However, with the unwavering support of my friends, faculty, and colleagues who believed in me, I found the strength to overcome these hurdles and successfully complete my exams. Their encouragement and trust were instrumental in helping me regain my confidence and focus on my academic goals.

When I first started at NMIMS, I was an introverted student, too shy to participate in activities and with a significant fear of public speaking. This lack of confidence was a considerable drawback, impacting my ability to fully engage in the vibrant academic and extracurricular life that NMIMS had to offer. I remember the initial days when even the thought of presenting in front of a class would make me anxious. However, the inclusive and encouraging environment at NMIMS gradually helped me come out of my shell.

NMIMS provided me with numerous opportunities that helped me grow. One of the most significant experiences was developing a comprehensive business plan. This project was a daunting task, requiring extensive research, strategic thinking, and collaboration with my peers. It pushed me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, enhancing my understanding of business dynamics. This hands-on experience was invaluable, allowing me to develop critical skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication.

Executing a successful sales fiesta during Diwali was another memorable experience. This initiative required meticulous planning, coordination, and execution. From conceptualizing the event to managing logistics and marketing, every step was a learning experience. It taught me the importance of attention to detail, time management, and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges. The satisfaction of seeing the event come to life and the positive feedback from participants was incredibly rewarding.

Developing a website was yet another challenging yet enriching experience. As someone with limited technical knowledge, this project pushed me to learn new skills and step out of my comfort zone. I collaborated with classmates who had expertise in different areas, learning the importance of leveraging diverse skill sets within a team. This project not only enhanced my technical skills but also improved my ability to work collaboratively and manage a project from inception to completion.

One of the most impactful aspects of my journey at NMIMS was the mentorship and guidance I received from the faculty and my peers. Their dedication to my growth and development was unwavering. The faculty members were always approachable, offering insights and advice that went beyond academic learning. They encouraged me to think critically, explore new ideas, and challenge myself continuously. My peers, too, played a significant role, in providing support, sharing knowledge, and fostering a sense of camaraderie that made the challenging moments more manageable.

I am immensely thankful to Dr. Shilpa Sankpal Dr. Vippa Dhingra Dr. Makarand Wath Sarvagya Tongia Anshuman Jaswal, PhD, MBA, LLM Dr. Ankitaa Doneriya for their constant support, advice, and encouragement. Their belief in my potential motivated me to strive for excellence and embrace every learning opportunity that came my way. The collaborative environment at NMIMS fostered a sense of community and belonging, making it easier to tackle challenges and celebrate achievements together. The friendships and connections I made here are invaluable, and I cherish the memories of working late nights on projects, brainstorming sessions, and celebrating our successes.

On a happy note, this is me, Prachi Khubchandani, signing off from NMIMS Indore. I am now a proud alumna of NMIMS Indore, and I look forward to the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The experiences and lessons learned here have equipped me with the confidence and skills necessary to navigate the future. Thank you, NMIMS, for an unforgettable journey. This chapter may be closing, but the memories and friendships forged will remain with me forever. I am excited to see where this new path leads and am forever grateful for the foundation NMIMS has provided me.
