In Memoriam: Remembering Don Lewis

Pictured: The Late Don Lewis, Past NMFTA Chairman

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I share the news of the sudden passing of our esteemed member, Don Lewis. It is never easy to convey such news, and the loss of a valued member is deeply felt by our entire NMFTA family.

Don was more than just a member; he was a dedicated and passionate individual who contributed significantly to our organization's mission. As a past Chairman and member of several committees over the years, his commitment to our cause, coupled with his friendly demeanor, made him a cherished member of our community. He took great pride in the organization, and even after he departed from PAF Transportation, he served as NMFTA Emeritus.

For nearly two decades, he made our organization a priority – lending his expertise and a listening ear. His presence left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

The memorial service will be held at Union Church in Belgrade Village, Maine on Saturday, January 20, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks you to consider donating to the Messalonskee Cal Ripken Little League organization. Don was deeply passionate about supporting youth sports, and your contributions will help carry on his dedication to the community.

If you wish to make a donation, please send it to:?

Messalonskee Cal Ripken?

P.O. Box 693?

Oakland, ME 04963

Please join me in keeping Don's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
