Newscamp 2024

Our Managing Partner Nico Lumma was at NEWSCAMP 2024 in Augsburg last week, where he hosted the Ideastage sessions with startups presenting their novel ideas ranging from data visualization, beating populism by repackaging content in new formats like podcasts and quizzes, to a wallet based payment system and AI-based proofreading. Nico also did an innovation talk with Ronja Schneider (Media Lab Bayern) to discuss how startups and established companies can better work together and why venture clienting is the way forward for companies to benefit from innovative startups. The two days at Newscamp 2024 were full of good talks with startups and decision-makers from media companies, who are interested in using the potential of AI to develop smoother processes that will benefit the readers and users.
