To continue the Nix & Kix success in the UK grocery industry, we at Foodchain are looking for a tenacious, creative, and commercially-minded National Account Manager to join their dynamic team.

You will be someone who takes ownership of your work, and is both strategic and analytical, while also being a brand champion and a leader by example.

You will be the key connection between the brand, the customers, and the consumers. With your ability to uncover insights and pursue leads for commercial opportunities, you will build strong relationships and foster love for the brand.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans that align with company objectives.
  • Manage P&L for assigned accounts, including forecasting, pricing, and promotional activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and business objectives achieved.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key accounts and decision makers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key customers and prospects.
  • Maximise profitability and drive sales growth through effective contract and pricing agreements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement


ABOUT YOU

  • Show a proven track record of managing key accounts and delivering revenue growth, with experience in national account management in the grocery industry.
  • Passion for building strong customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge of Dunnhumby and Nectar data cohorts… comfortable sharing the role that Nix & Kix plays in categories.
  • Self sufficient in generating insights from data tools - Kantar, IRI, Dunnhumby, Nectar, Ocado, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse market trends, financial data, and customer performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver results.
  • Ability to work independently and share best-practices with the wider team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the job.?
  • You will have a?love of growing start up brands; awareness, penetration and rate of sale.
  • A challenger attitude?- the brand are in a massively competitive space, so having great ideas and problem-solving skills are essential to success.
  • Leadership qualities?- every person at Nix and Kix counts, you need to be comfortable with autonomy, leading from the front, inspiring, and building Nix & Kix’s brand world.
