Nitrosamine-free Rubber Accelerator LB

Nitrosamine, a strong carcinogen, is one of the most important chemical carcinogens and is extremely harmful to human health.?In the rubber&latex industry, to minimize the nitrosamine content has become an important issue, it is generally believed that nitrosamines will also induce the generation of carcinogens, for direct contact with the body of latex products, but also the need for nitrosamine-free products, such as gloves, latex pillows, condoms and so on. With this background, we developed a new kind of rubber accelerator LB.

In the production process of producing rubber accelerators, nitrosamines are formed by the reaction of secondary amines with nitrosating agents, however, it is very difficult to replace ultra-fast accelerators (Thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators), and very few other accelerators utilize sulphur as quickly and efficiently as these ultra-fast accelerators. The new compound is a non-polluting and good-performance accelerator. On the one hand, the branched-chain structure provides spatial site resistance, which prevents a small amount of amine released during vulcanization from reacting with nitrosating agents; on the other hand, it features high relative molecular mass and low volatility compared with ordinary amines with low relative molecular mass. It adopts new compound synthesis technology, a two-step process, high yield, less three wastes, high utilization rate of water system gradient, which can realize "clean and green" production and meet the requirements of environmental protection policy and energy-saving production.

Accelerator LB is a super fast accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex, and a good active agent for thiazole and subsulfonamide accelerators.

The vulcanization speed is basically the same as that of the accelerator ZDEC and it is not easy to produce nitrosamines. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to ZDEC. The vulcanization activity in the latex is slightly higher than that of ZDEC, which has little effect on the stability of the latex. It is non-polluting, non-discolouring, non-toxic, odourless, tasteless, and has good dispersion; it is suitable for white, bright-coloured and transparent products. It is mainly used in the latex industry for the manufacture of medical products, adhesive tapes, self-curing products and latex foam products.

The appearance of the obtained product is whiter and finer than other similar products;

The initial melting point of the obtained product is greater than or equal to 154°C, the purity is greater than or equal to 98.5%, and the product yield is greater than 98%;

The products obtained have a long shelf life and are more stable at room temperature;
