NIPDB Celebrates International Women's Day under the Theme (Invest in Women: Accelerating in Progress)

The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) is proudly celebrating International Women's Day on 8 March 2024 under the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerating Progress." This year's theme underscores the critical role that women play in driving socio-economic development and fostering inclusive growth.

International Women's Day serves as an important reminder of the need to advance gender equality and create opportunities for women to thrive in the business world. By investing in women, we not only unlock their full potential but also contribute to the overall prosperity and resilience of our nation.

NIPDB is committed to fostering gender diversity and empowerment within its leadership ranks. Currently, four out of seven executives are women, with two out of three senior managers also being female. Additionally, seven out of sixteen managers are women, reflecting our dedication to providing equal opportunities for all. Through initiatives such as leadership training and execution of Personal Development Programmes, the NIPDB actively supports the career growth and advancement of women within the organisation.
