Nintex and Promapp in Harmony

I’m not one to make normally comment around acquisitions, but this one to me is a real game changer and worth a mention.

Nintex acquires Promapp, on the outside it’s just another purchase but for a customer who has both tools in our toolbox this is significant, and below is my reasoning why.

Currently we use promapp for business process, kinda obvious, but that doesn’t really equate into a solution process, so what does IT do, yup often we re-document the process so we can build it in Nintex. We talk about process efficiency, but our own process is inefficient in itself.

What this acquisition does is now turns a business process and a solution process into an intelligent process, all integrated together and no doubts working seamlessly in harmony. What business does not want this, none said no one ever!

My dream out of this would be so that it enables a business process to be solution ready and more importantly solution readable. Do the work once and do it right, with an outcome being an intelligent process and potentially simple intelligent process automation, all together.

I have to give credit to our New Zealand company Promapp, I know Nintex well and they don’t do things lightly, or by halves so this is a significant acknowledgement of the value that promapp offers to an already industry leading solution, I take my hat off to you.

The power that Promapp combined with Nintex will bring is an process explosion that is potentially an industry game changer, and something I am excited to see where it ends up, which will not only benefit me, but how our business operate and how I work!
