We’re back with another edition of Nine-to-Thrive, the first of 2025. We hope you had a restful extended break and took the time to prioritise your well-being over Christmas.
January is a time when many of us reflect on the goals we hope to achieve over the year, both professionally and personally, with adopting healthy well-being and mental health habits likely to be at the top of our lists.
With that in mind, we have spent January looking back on some of Lesley’s recent features to discuss how you can prioritise employee well-being and mental health within your business in 2025 and beyond.
We delved into why employee well-being should be a top priority this year and provided four actionable tips that you can put into practice to help you start incorporating well-being strategies into your organisation.
? Encourage leaders and managers to prioritise their own wellbeing, creating a culture where self-care is valued.
? Train managers and team leads to recognise and support employees facing mental health challenges.
? Ensure employees feel safe discussing their concerns without fear of stigma or career repercussions.
? Design programmes based on the unique demographics and challenges of your workforce, such as financial wellness seminars or physical activity challenges.
Putting employee well-being at the forefront of your business means that you may be considering the signs to look out for when it comes to your employee's mental health.
