Schedule second interview
I personally like this to be face to face and they can also meet the team and have a chat over a coffee.
Plyometric testing should now to carried out. This is a great way to double check that the candidates has all the skills and personality traits and they are not just great at interviews. Disc testing is a solution we use. More information on this HERE
Step 7
Offer stage
When you make an offer, make sure you offer the role and salary as discussed at the start, also within the candidate’s expectation. Some companies make the mistake to offer less than that was requested just to get a deal. This is not the best way to start as sometimes what can happen is the candidates will either just say no and move on, or worse, they will accept until they get a better offer.
Step 8
Onboarding
The onboarding stage starts as soon as the candidate is offered the role. This is an essential stage and often overlooked. Read here for more information.
Step 9
References
Making sure that you apply for references from the current and past references is essential.
Best wishes for your new hire
