NIMBYs Wanted !!!

KO, LI community - here's a question for you, based on my recent experience with a post supporting increased use of wind turbines as a sustainable / renewable energy source. A (former ?, as he apparently 'blocked' me and erased all of our postings, lol) LI 'Connection' replied to my comment in support of increasing wind turbine use - and my request to please stop making renewable energy a political and/or polarizing issue. Anyway, he stated something along the lines of 'Go live by one'. To which I replied that I would much prefer living beside a wind turbine than an extracted gas pumping station (or a coal-fired power plant, or a nuke plant). I challenged him to be honest with himself and think about whether or not he would really prefer to live near a nuke plant, a coal-fired plant, or a gas compressor station, rather than a wind turbine, a solar PV plant, or a hydro-electric plant.

He deleted me & the posts, rather than reply...curious, eh ?

SO Linkers - here is the question: Would you (honestly) rather live beside a wind turbine (or PV array, or hydro) or beside a nuclear power plant, or coal-fired plant, or extracted gas compressor station ??? Be honest - and NIMBYism is perfectly acceptable, lol ;)
