Nightmare From Heaven

Nightmare From Heaven

He'd reached a chilling conclusion: "Life couldn't be a heavenly fairytale. It had to be one of three: a heavenly nightmare, a divine curse, or a blessing from the bottomless pit." His body trembled at the consequences of his cold, inhuman actions, yet his soul felt strangely at peace. He'd saved it, served it, even at the cost of his sanity. Alone, he found pockets of inner peace, but outwardly, he was a trauma victim of a man-made disaster far more chaotic than any natural one, a disaster he'd authored. His next move, he knew, could be his last, or the start of an unending spiral of darkness and tragedy. Confessing his hidden sins to a vengeful God, he stockpiled ammunition, preparing for war with the divine.
