On December 12th, 2024, New York City came alive with energy, elegance, and purpose as leaders, innovators, and changemakers gathered for The Hispanic Star Gala. Hosted and kicked off by Claudia Romo Edelman and the We Are All Human Foundation , the annual celebration brought together more than 650 guests for an unforgettable evening that honored the achievements, resilience, and vision of the Hispanic community.

As the evening unfolded, it became clear: the narrative surrounding our community is changing. No longer will stereotypes and misinformation overshadow our contributions. Latinas and Latinos are driving prosperity, power, and progress across industries, and the Gala was a moment to celebrate this reality. A moment to remind the world—and ourselves—that our achievements are as boundless as our ambition.

The Gala shined a spotlight on leaders whose resilience, excellence, and vision have inspired countless others:

  • Martin Cabrera Jr., CEO & Founder of Cabrera Capital
  • Cesar Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal News Group
  • Maria Hinojosa, Award-winning Journalist
  • Billie Jean King and Rosie Casals, Sports Icons and Advocates for Equality

Their words were not just reflections of success but a call to action: to amplify our voices, champion each other, and build platforms where future generations can rise without limits.

The evening was alive with elegance and purpose—a celebration of culture, leadership, and collective pride. Heartfelt testimonials, transformative performances, and inspiring words came from luminaries who embody the spirit of progress and creativity:

  • Emilio Estefan, Grammy & Emmy Award-winning Producer, Director, and Entrepreneur
  • Karla Martínez de Salas, Head of Editorial Content, Vogue México y Latinoamérica
  • Willy Chavarria, Acclaimed Fashion Designer
  • Raul Rocha, Owner & President, Miss Universe
  • Isabella Casillas Guzman, U.S. Small Business Administrator
  • Meghan Picerno, Broadway Performer and Coloratura Soprano
  • Deborah Hung, Entrepreneur and Public Figure
  • Dr. Alfredo Qui?ones-Hinojosa (Dr. Q), Neurosurgeon and Thought Leader
  • Gina Brillon, Comedian and Creative Voice
  • Mauricio Gonzalez-Arias, M.D., Advocate for Public Health
  • Raul Pe?aranda, Visionary Fashion Designer
  • Jorge Soto, Content Creator and Community Advocate

Representing Latina Professionals at this inspiring event was our Founder, Rafael Maga?a, joined by leadership members Marisa Solis and Carmen Fraser who spoke on the main stage. Their presence highlighted the strength and dedication of Latina professionals driving change and elevating voices in every sector.

It was a night where stories of perseverance met moments of triumph—a reflection of how far we’ve come as a community and how much further we will go. For executive women and leaders in attendance, the Gala served as a powerful reminder of the opportunities we create when we amplify our voices, invest in each other, and redefine leadership on our own terms.

As the evening came to a close, one message was clear: the Hispanic community is united, resilient, and essential to shaping a brighter future for all.

Here’s to carrying this momentum into the year ahead—because when we come together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. We look forward to seeing you next year.
