Night brings rest and also some dreams

Dreaming is a process of thinking, but without the burdens of reality. So you are kind of, relaxing your mind, letting it wander: without being propelled by your responsibilities. In fact, dreaming is so important, that interrupting someone's dreams, consistently, does more damage to their daily energy than interrupting any other part of their sleep. So dreaming a lot is healthy, and does the opposite of making you tired.

However, a dream is often comprised of the opposite feelings of your day. So if you are disrespected in the day, you are more likely to dream about respect. That is simplistic - the explanation - but isn't misleading. Therefore, transitioning can be painful. Going from a place with a thing you like, when asleep, to a place without that thing, when you are awake, and instead a thing that you do not like, will push your brain to put up a barrier. So you might feel groggy for example; and that may be what you are referring to.

There are two basic scenarios why one always dreams during night either you are tired the whole day or you are tired in the morning. In the first case your day is boring, or your sleep is not restful either because of distractions, an unhealthy home environment, or a lack of mental/physical energy expenditure in the previous day - resulting in a weak sleep, because you are not tired enough. Or all of those things may be happening. If you are tired just in the morning, you need a solid routine to help you make the transition smoothly: snap out of your dream-like world, and enter the "real" one with momentum.

Either by forcing a shower, eating breakfast, reading, exercising, playing a game, listening to music: these are all good transition activities. You need to make your mind alert, and the faster you do that, the more painful it may be - until you build the habit. But, speed also brings results, such as not being tired; and that is what you want, right?

When a person is sleeping, he alternates between two different forms of sleep known as REM sleep ( Rapid Eye Movements) and NREM ( Non-Rapid Eye Movements) sleep. REM sleep lasts for about 90 minutes and keeps alternating with NREM sleep during the entire sleep cycle. In NREM sleep, the brain decreases its activity and is for all intents and purposes offline. You don't have any dreams during NREM sleep. However, the muscles can still be active and often contract on their own. If you see a person moving on the bed, he is most definitely in NREM sleep.

But in REM sleep, the brain increases its firing rate of its neurons and this causes visual imagery to the person. Some scientists hypothesize that this occurs to consolidate the memory and learning. During REM sleep, the muscles are paralyzed and there will no be no movement of the person. Usually if a person wakes up during the REM sleep, he will remember the visual imagery (the dream) or else he will forget it if he wakes up during NREM sleep.

Because the first half of the night is mostly filled with NREM sleep, and the latter half is mostly filled with REM sleep. Waking up during this REM sleep causes you to have memories of these dreams which you get every night. It's completely normal for a person to have dreams every night, or if he only rarely gets dreams. Its more to do with the sleep cycle and the usual waking time, whether it coincides with either REM sleep remembers the dreams or NREM sleep having no recollection of the dream.

Dreams are a result of living an unfulfilled life. Your dreams are telling you to be brave in life and do the things you must do. When you live your life to the fullest, sleep is dreamless and restful. That goes even for a person who has a sleep disorder and dreams a lot. The dreams arise when the person creates several ‘blocks’ or denials in their mind regarding all kinds of things in life. A good doctor can cure them but people don't realize that they can also cure themselves through facing their true feelings and fears and desires which are hidden deep inside the unconscious.

Facing and feeling them, no matter how unpleasant, will help to free these blocked ideas/feelings and bring you back to full health and much better than before. Live your life to the fullest. People miss their childhood. Living your dreams will bring your childhood energy and feelings back! Life will be full of adventure, romance and mystery. Whichever you prefer. Think about what the dreams are telling you to do on a deeper level. They are very symbolic in nature.

Make the things of ‘unconscious’ ‘conscious’. Shine some light on the darkness by acting the feelings out in your waking life. A little bit of meditation daily will help a lot. And to live your dreams I recommend reading an amazing book called ‘The Secret’or watch a movie based on the book by the same name ‘The Secret’ you are sure to enjoy it thoroughly. If you find yourself suddenly remembering more dreams than before, it could be because you are not sleeping well. While we all need to dream, and we most often forget those dreams, we tend to remember them as morning nears, and our sleep cycles become less deep. That’s why the dreams you remember most often occur in the early morning hours. Or when you wake up immediately after having been in a REM state. Relax and not worry too much about dreams, Cheers!
