Nigeria's First Female-Owned HR Tech Company, Founded By Kelechi Abiri and Joha Ordu

As the world celebrates International Women's Day today, March 8th, 2023, with the theme being DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for gender equality, Nigeria has a reason to be proud of Kelechi and Joha, the founders of the country's first female-owned HR Tech company.?

Such groundbreaking accomplishment is a significant milestone for women in Nigeria and is a testament to their untapped potential. The journey of our sibling founders in becoming the architects of Nigeria's first female-owned HR tech company began with a vision to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses, and leave a lasting mark on how people are recruited, trained, and managed.

Having started out as a solo recruitment and HR consulting? business in 2017, the many problems that were encountered along the line like workforce management, performance management, and retaining talents led to the need for a software with human resource analytics and data from human resources management.

This led to the launch of the Reposebay web application which manages workforce, performance management, training, recruitment, payroll and lots more. But it didn’t end at that, our founders have gone ahead to tackle the major challenge of workforce employability by also launching a new product named Readyjobseeker, which is our career service product that connects and trains the right talents with the businesses that we work with

Readyjobseeker has attracted some major businesses that have recently joined in sponsoring some of the training. Businesses like CafeOne by Sterling have been part of sponsoring our training, and also the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund invited us to speak about the workplace generational gap not so long ago.

The determination of our founders to become better and create the perfect technology-driven HR solutions that would provide a level playing field for women and other groups in the workplace cannot be overemphasized, and this is best demonstrated by their constant urge to tackle major challenges in the HR industry.

Their story is a testament to the power of perseverance and hard work, because as women in a male-dominated space, they face many challenges and obstacles along the way, but never gave up. Their determination to succeed and passion for creating a more inclusive workplace has inspired many women in Nigeria and beyond.

Today being International Women's Day 2023, our sister founders’ groundbreaking accomplishment is a reminder of the untapped potential of women in Nigeria and the world. Their success serves as an inspiration to women everywhere to pursue their dreams and break down barriers in their chosen fields.
