As a Nigerian, do you know the importance of having your Nigerian Passport?

Anticipating the Afcon finals, Njetours gave out a free one-month Qatar visa to the first person who predicted the game correctly. Although we went home with a silver cup, the turnout was different from what every Nigerian expected it to be. Among the many who sent in their predictions through various social media platforms, only two candidates predicted correctly.

We reached out to the first one and informed her of the criteria needed for her to redeem the Qatar visa that she won. Unfortunately, the winner did not have an international passport. We reached out to the second winner and again, she also did not have an international passport.?

A passport serves as a recognized ID when conducting banking abroad, as it carries the Nigerian government’s backing. This eases tasks like opening foreign bank accounts.?

5. Personal growth

This will enable you to see the world differently. It opens room for business and career networks globally.

In essence, to fully participate in opportunities both within Nigeria and abroad, all citizens are advised to obtain an international passport, whether or not they have upcoming travel plans. As the above real-life case illustrates, something as simple as not having a passport can mean missing out on an earned reward.
