Fuel Your Growth: Transform Your Expertise into a Personal Brand that Amplifies Visibility & Impacts Ideal Paying Clients
Niching feels like giving up on your potential.
Niching feels like holding yourself back.
Niching feels like you are betting on one thing.
Talented professionals have difficulty creating influential brands because they are exactly that... talented.
That means they have so many ways they can change the world and if they are ambitious, they endeavor to use every crayon in their box to colour the world with their knowledge.
But, when you have too many offerings, too many ways you can serve the world, you are confusing to those who may want to buy from you.
Niching allows you to be comprehensible to the market.
It allows ideal clients to get you right from the start.
Niching can feel like a cage to the talented and I want to shift how you perceive niching.
I was that person who had so many talents and wanted to use every crayon in my box.
I built niched brands around everything I could do...
A dance company to share my professional dance performance and choreography background.
A dental coaching company to share my mistakes and learnings from being a niched dental practice owner and clinical dentist.
A social media agency to share how I had built my influence on LinkedIn and Facebook for those two companies.
From an outside perspective, I was confusing and to some appeared unfocused even though I had the energy and ability to run all companies at a high level, simultaneously.
Appearing confusing and unfocused is a problem - no matter how talented you are.
That outside perspective did me harm that I was conscious of, yet, I was afraid to niche my talents into one offering.
Selling off the dance company, the coaching company, and the agency part of Unleashing Influence was the scariest thing I have ever done.

Narrowing myself down to just what I did best with clients - handing them the match to burn down what didn't serve them so they could niche their personal brand into what they did masterfully while being captivating on their media of choice (social, podcasts, or stage) - created many sleepless nights.
I felt like I was about to burn bridges as I lit the match and started burning away my involvement in the companies and my offerings in the market.
I had people question my decisions while others commended me for my bravery for taking a stand against what wasn't working in my life.
This month proved it was the best move I have made professionally, ever.
In January of this year (3 months since throwing the final match to make my final divestment), I posted my highest net earnings since retiring from dentistry and I am working with my exact ideal clients everyday.
I tell you this because, if you are wanting to pivot and niche into what you are masterful at, you will need to bravely light a match and burn down what you no longer want to do.
Will some people be disappointed that you are limiting your scope and can no longer serve them with outdated work you no longer do?
Sure.
Will the energy and time you free up from no longer doing work that drains you allow you to unleash yourself into building a portfolio of offerings to ideal clients that allow you to be your best everyday?
Absolutely.
Narrowing your scope is scary.
Potentially disappointing clients is scary
Betting on your mastery is the scariest.
It takes courage and boldness to grab the match and strike up the flame to burn away what you do well so you can niche into what you do best.
But once you have niched, your mastery will be unleashed to be the best, most inspired, and most passionate at your craft.
Ready to throw the match and niche to unleash?
