Nice People Saying Nice Things...

When I approached Geno with my latest 'baby' for a first ten page review, it was with a sense of excitement, tempered by an almost suffocating trepidation, incurred by past happenings, when the wrong 'reviewers' were approached. Reviewers who appeared to be only intent on informing me that they were vastly superior as a screenwriter and indeed a human being than I.

Juxtaposed to these soul scarring experiences has been the joyous relationship with Geno Scala.

When I opened my email from Geno, I was firstly amazed at the volume of advice proffered, then the quality of observation and guidance was resoundingly reassuring. I literally devoured every tip, suggestion, hint, pointer and opinion and then went back for seconds, as one read through was insufficient for me to digest the manifest before me. In one word I would describe Geno as magnanimous, as he leads you through your own naive attempt of a screenplay, in an extremely professional yet informal manner. The depth of perception is extreme with plaudits and compliments skipping off the page, along with much needed criticism which far from caustic, appears as resonant motivation.

It is my view that I made the best decision ever when I decided to approach Geno. If I was keen to write prior to this experience, I am now chomping at the bit to produce my finest writing ever. Thank you so very much Geno. I would indubitably recommend that all and any screenwriters, at whatever level, seek the advice of this guru. You will not regret it!
