Nice to be Netflix
It must be nice to be Netflix – the major influencer on how to create and distribute content. They’ve set the standard for viewer engagement and given other streamers and broadcasters alike a high bar to scale.
When traditional OTA broadcasters reconsider standard operating procedures such as program length (episodic no longer restricted to a half or one hour slot), number of episodes written and created over a time period (10 over two years as opposed to 22 in ten months), and the number of episodes dropped in a week you can just smell the change in the air. Smells good, yes?
