What a wonderful spectacle, there was footage from all over Manchester last night as people stood in their doorways and applauded the NHS, shop workers and everyone else on the front line, putting themselves and their families at risk by taking care of those that need it most.
My wife is a carer for the elderly and her team are trying to lift the spirits of the residents as their moods have been affected because their visits from friends and family have been suspended.
