NH Elementary School Teacher Publishes Book to Ease Children's Anxiety While Wearing Masks
New Hampshire elementary school teacher Jennifer Brock has published a children’s book with hopes of ridding school age children of the anxiety associated with wearing masks in the classroom.
AMAZING MASKS is a playful story featuring a whimsical character named Peanut. The book celebrates masks around our communities, our world and in nature with the worthwhile goal of easing children's concerns about wearing masks as they return to school and navigate through daily life filled with new routines.
“My hope is to ease the anxiety of children as they return to the classroom,” said Brock, who teaches at William Allen School in Rochester, NH. “There is a real emotional need for a book like this and I hope it miraculously finds its way into every classroom in America.”
The book is being published by Civin Media Relations a publishing company from Winchendon, MA, which specializes in books that provide a voice for those with differences.
