NGO CSW/NY Global Youth Fellows 2024-2025

The NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York (NGO CSW/NY) has announced the second cohort of its Global Youth Fellows program for 2024-2025. This initiative aims to empower 20 young activists worldwide who are passionate about gender equality and women's rights. The program will focus on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, addressing 12 critical areas of concern related to women's rights.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be under 40 years old.
• Have at least two years of experience in community or civil society work.
• Currently engaged in a community initiative with plans to pursue a civil society career.
• Must be able to start in October 2024 and be proficient in English.

Roles and Benefits:

• Monthly meetings and assigned tasks.
• A USD 1,000 financial award for their organization.
• Feature in a multimedia publication.
• Lead a Youth Preparation Series.
• Take over the NGO CSW/NY Instagram account.
• Participate in advocacy efforts and receive training.
