1. Chattahoochee Riverkeeper files suit against City of Atlanta for violating Clean Water Act
?? Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Atlanta for its ongoing pollution of the Chattahoochee River.
In July, CRK sent a letter notifying city officials that they would have 60 days to stop discharging illegal levels of pollution from the R.M. Clayton Water Reclamation Center or the group would file a lawsuit in federal court for violations of the Clean Water Act. A 60-day notice of intent to sue is required under the Clean Water Act.

2. Buckhead receives $10 million federal grant for elevated pedestrian bridge?
?? The Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID) has been awarded a $10 million federal grant?for an elevated pedestrian and bicycle bridge across Lenox Road where it intersects with GA 400.

This work is part of the?Lenox Road Complete Safe Street project?which will create a 1.25-mile pedestrian-friendly corridor between the Lenox MARTA station and Piedmont Road.
The grant came from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s?Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program.
3. NFA Burger announces expansion, first COO
???NFA Burger owner Billy Kramer plans to expand his award-winning burger business to include four more Atlanta locations. And the next location could open as soon as six months from now.
Those expansion efforts begin with hiring the restaurant's first chief operating officer, Brett Crowder,?to guide the process, Kramer exclusively told Rough Draft.?
Crowder, a University of Georgia alum, has consulted for Dantanna’s, DASH Hospitality, Slutty Vegan, and most recently, H&H Hospitality in Atlanta. The latter manages and operates restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
