Next week, Microsoft is set to release ChatGPT 4, which will feature AI videos.

In recent months, ChatGPT has been ubiquitous, and Microsoft is gearing up to give the AI tool an update that could once again thrust it into the limelight. The company is planning to release GPT-4 as early as next week, which may allow users to create AI-generated videos from simple text prompts.

At the "AI in Focus — Digital Kickoff" event, Andreas Braun, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Germany, revealed that GPT-4 would be introduced next week, and that it would feature multimodal models, including videos. ChatGPT currently only responds in text, but this is expected to change with the new update.

While ChatGPT won't be the first AI tool to create videos, as Meta's Make-A-Video was launched in 2022, it seems that the new version of ChatGPT will offer similar capabilities.

At the event, Microsoft explained that GPT-4 would be able to translate a user's text into images, music, and video, making it "multimodal." Microsoft gave an example of how GPT-4 could be used by a call center to automatically convert phone conversations into text, saving time and effort previously spent summarizing those calls.

Despite the high interest in ChatGPT, Microsoft did not mention its integration with the Bing web browser or the controversy it has generated. With GPT-4 expected to launch soon, we may soon see what the next version of ChatGPT can do and if it can address any of the issues that have been plaguing the AI assistant.
