The other half, I want you to do on your own, and to pick out a bit of marketing that you can get excited about

Is it content? Human psychology and influence, sales, video.. running past security at a Fortune 500 company straight to the CEO so you can do a live-run of your elevator pitch?

Whatever it may be, make it in your wheelhouse, and make it fun, because a little bit of marketing paves the road with gold one brick at a time.

Anyways. Let's get to the first point of today:

Content marketing coaches are scam artists!

Why? Because they don't work based on results!

All they have to say is that "content marketing brings clients"

And then they teach you how to write horribly boring stuff. Stuff that's hardly better than chatgpt

That's why this whole "Use chatgpt to make 30 pieces of content in 5 minutes " stuff is garbage

And it's gross

Because… so what?!

It matters zero how fast you can make content, and even if it's one step above baby diaper garbage (which is as good as it can get with chatgpt) you'll still make zero sales

That's why we cannot be thinking in terms of "inbound leads" and "content marketing"

There's no accountability to it. All you can do is wait, and wait..

...Can you risk paying your rent on the hope that you'll get an inbound lead today?

How about your kid's student loan payment?

Or one more month of telling your spouse, "This month's the month! Im sure by next family dinner I'll be able to tell your Mom that you don't have to support us full-time anymore."

Gahhhd damn! Really it just makes me more sad than anything that so are SO many "marketers", and so many "branding coaches", so many half-baked, LOSERS who hold themselves to no accountability, because of the lie that marketing doesn't need to produce sales. Just likes and comments

Which says a lot about our society right now doesn't?

That we can get caught up in thinking that fame, and what other people think about us, is more important than running a successful business

Whatever.

So what's the point of all this? What am I telling you to do?

I'm telling you to start thinking like a marketer

Stop thinking about doing marketing and start thinking like a marketer

When you make this shift in your mind, you start to see the whole picture, and you start to take all of the necessary micro and macro actions to make it work for you

It's the difference between seeing the forest from the trees…

You don't need marketing, you need:

Great sales messaging, a unique and compelling offer, an outbound DM strategy, an inbound DM strategy (think of that right? You need to say the right thing to get them onto a call as well), you need sales assets like sales docs, and a sales sequence, and an offer suite, and how to sell in the first place damnit!

There's lots of stuff guys.
