Next Steps for Exhibiting Success

Next Steps for Exhibiting Success

We’re super excited for all providers joining us, Feb. 26 – March?2, in Washington, D.C., in our sold-out exhibit hall.

Now that you've secured booth space, here’s what to do next to keep on track to having a successful show:

Register booth reps

With each booth reserved, you receive two complimentary registrations with the option to purchase additional badges; with each kiosk, you receive one complimentary registration without the ability to add more. Certain levels of sponsorship also mean additional badges.

If you need additional badges, you can purchase them for $950 each by logging into the ExpoCad portal.

Order carpeting and other items

Carpet is required but not included with your purchase. It can be secured, as well as any furnishings, decorations, electricity and monitors through Freeman's show service kit.

Purchase Wi-Fi

If you’ll be using the conference app or desire internet at your booth, we recommend purchasing Wi-Fi through the show service kit. There's free Wi-Fi in the convention center, but with so many people trying to access it, it can be spotty at times.

Pay attention to the Move-in/Move-out schedule

All exhibits must be set up and in place no later than 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 26. Check out the exhibit hall schedule here.

Look for the attendee roster

We sent out the attendee roster earlier this week to all providers who have paid in full for their exhibit space/sponsorships. Now is a great time to start sending out invites for dinners, etc.

Download the conference app

Look for details about how to download the conference app about a week before the GAC. The app includes a built-in lead generation tool that makes it easy for you to collect attendee information. We see an increase in the number of attendees who’ve downloaded the app and increased usership each year. Posting to the event feed is a great way to increase booth traffic.

Start shopping

Anyone who knows me, knows this is my favorite piece of advice! Be on the lookout for comfy shoes. The GAC is super exciting and fulfilling, but you’ll have some long days on your feet. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this is one time where comfort actually might outweigh style. Save those heels or amazing looking loafers for a special dinner that week – or the closing party.

We can’t wait to see you the end of February!
