Welcome back to your weekly LinkedIn newsletter all about Copilot. Today we are focusing on the next step in your organization's prompt excellence.
The Prompts Team app has been available for a few days now. Let's take a closer look at how it can help you achieve prompt excellence in your organization or team.
Why use 'Prompts' as a Teams App?
Let's say your employee Adi Lette has a great prompt that he creates for his personal productivity. He has bookmarked his prompt for quick access in his UI for AI.
But wouldn't it be great if you could share your best prompts not just as a link, but actually build a library within a team?
We already have the prompt gallery as a web page. But with Prompt, we have that experience built right into Teams, but even more...
What's about Prompt Buddy?
You're absolutely right - some organizations already use Prompt Buddy. And that's great if you want a completely customized interface. But back in October, one of the creators of Prompt Buddy told me that Microsoft was working super closely to integrate the most important features into the Prompt Gallery.
So the default way is Prompt (Gallery) for your organization.
How to use Prompts as an App?
You can install Prompts as an application in your Teams and have the Prompt Gallery at your fingertips.
?? Looking for a shortcut? Here's a video for today's topic in German ????
There you'll find not only the predefined Microsoft prompts where you can apply different filters such as "App", "Tasks"..., but also the event "Copilot Agent".
You'll also find your Personal Prompts. There you will find all your bookmarked prompts.
?? and also team prompts. yeeey.
What does this mean? You can now share a prompt with a team, create a prompt library for a specific team and have a comprehensive overview of all relevant prompts for that team.
How to share a prompt with your Team?
Once you've bookmarked a particular prompt, you can share it with a team.
Simply click Share with Team
and then choose which teams you want to share it with.
How to integrate Prompts to a specific Teams?
Of course, you can now use these prompts within your Prompts app. BUT! there is also a new tab integration. So you can further integrate your prompt library directly into a Teams tab. Just search for "Prompts" in your new tab.
What are scenarios to use it?
Simple and easy: It's a prompt library.
But you can also think about making your (project) team more productive by sharing the best prompts. With this approach, you can share your favorite prompts not only within your team, but also for specific projects.
And stay tuned for more prompt features.
What is your favorit prompt?
Sharing is caring - what is your most useful prompt during the day?
