The next step...

The next step...

About 20 months ago I reluctantly became CEO of a very small team with seemingly unmanageable difficulties. The team was called QueensLab and I was one of four co-founders. Two out of four stayed, my fantastic partner and friend Jens ?stgaard and myself.

QueensLab underwent demolition, conflicts, chaos and disorder but like a flower in a concrete floor the organization managed to organically grow despite a very challenging environment.

I have had the pleasure of participating in the building of this small team from a few people to a functional company with 25+ brilliant minds in the areas of design & technology.

For me, the CEO challenge has forced me to learn at an incredible speed and to accept responsibility at a new level I never anticipated. During this time, I feel that I have grown tremendously both professionally and at a personal level and I am forever grateful to those who relied on me and provided me with strength and confidence to go on when I sometimes felt overpowered and beaten.

It is with mixed feelings I announce that it is time for me to accept a new challenge and progress at my core and pick up where I left off that day 20 months ago. It makes me proud and hopeful when I introduce my new and exceptional partner Stefan Trailovic – QueensLabs new CEO who will carry QueensLab to the next level.

I will continue working with the board and as an operational CTO with the mission to provide QueensLab developers with planning and strategy, and hopefully help them improve their skills even more.

For this time as a CEO I would like to especially thank a set of people that has found a special place in my heart.

Thank you, Anna-Karin, Marvin and Sofia, what a solid team and what a core function. Without you, we would never have managed to ride out the storm. You were there from the start and I will never forget your support.

Thank you Dawid for your unquestionable persistence and loyalty, it was not always fun for you but you knew how to pick up the shovel and dig when it was necessary.

Thank you, Eskil, for your passionate drive. You have been a true leader in your untiring pursuit of development.

Thank you, Pia, for both understanding and valuable feedback and sometimes criticism. I appreciate your honesty and backbone, even times you might have felt I did not.

Thank you, Martina, for your drive, your incredible ability to lift a group of people and to bring smiles to sad faces.

Thank you, Max, for being the best mentee I could possibly have had by my side. You might have learned from me, but I have learnt just as much. You have inspired me to keep going.

Thank you, Magnus, for all your time, effort, advices and thank you, Lotta, for your loyalty, effort and your passion for QueensLab. Hakim, you are en eternal sunshine, thank you for being you.

To all the rest that I might not have known for so long but still have shown me so incredibly many positive sides; Alexander & Robin, Emma, Sandra, Andreas, Carl, Harry & Hampus, Linnéa, Lorenz, Sebastian.

I would also like to direct a special thank you to those who have always supported and inspired me from the side lines, André Fran?ois at Happy at Work and Karin Landin from Yourmonday.se.

Now let′s take the next step together!
