Hi Friends,
Today, Wednesday, June 17th, is my last day at LinkedIn.
I joined LinkedIn in Dec '06, approximately 8.5 years ago, when we had around 70 employees and a small office in Palo Alto. I am very happy to see how we have grown to almost 7500 employees in every possible country and market. The journey of LinkedIn, growing from 6 million members to more than 360+ million while solving a lot of technical challenges and learning from it, is not only an amazing career opportunity but truly a life-changing experience. I could not have asked for anything better.
We come across "making the world a better place" one too many times in the Valley. I am extremely proud to say that our work at LinkedIn helps members create economic opportunities for everyone. LinkedIn is making the world a better place in the true sense.

I still remember those early days when I used to spend hours explaining to friends and sometimes to strangers how LinkedIn could be valuable to them. From that time to now, when I see the glow in people's eyes when they realize I work at LinkedIn, or when strangers walk up to me spotting LinkedIn t-shirts and thank me for the things we do at LinkedIn. This would not have been possible without Reid's dream and Jeff's execution. I want to thank them and all other leaders, colleagues, and friends for making it a great success.
There are so many memories to cherish, but most importantly, I got to work with talented individuals like you. I learned so many things from leaders who became mentors. I made wonderful friends, many of whom are now family. For all the evenings and countless nights I spent at LinkedIn, it was truly my second home. It was not just work; it was a part of me.
The Valley is small, and I am sure our paths will cross again in some way or another, but until then, I would like to thank you all for your support and help in making the last decade the most memorable time of my life.
