I’m excited to announce that I have joined Turnkey Search as its Managing Director. I have known Turnkey Sports & Entertainment’s CEO Len Perna for many years. If you are or were in sports, you know Len Perna. In addition to the Intelligence division which was recently sold, Len’s executive & talent recruitment business has been the go-to firm for major sports industry roles for the last 22 years. Len and the team have expanded into media and entertainment as well over the last few years as well. 

When I called Len to let him know my days of riding cross-country and building Koi ponds was over and I was beginning to think about what was next for me, he began to tell me how my experience could lend itself nicely to the talent recruitment industry. As Len and I discussed the opportunity more and more, and after meeting the very tight-knit, hands-on hardworking group of folks that work at Turnkey Search, I was sold. 

I begin today with a new job, in a new industry with a new team. We’re small, we’re nimble, we’re responsive and we care about finding the right individuals for the right roles. Just as when I joined Univision in 2011 and I didn’t have much direct experience understanding or working to serve the Hispanic community, I don’t come to Turnkey Search with a lot of direct “executive recruiter” background. That said, I’ve hired, mentored and coached hundreds (possibly a few thousand) of colleagues over the last 35 years and that, I think, will serve me and Turnkey Search well.
