The Next Level → LIMITLESS

The Next Level → LIMITLESS

In this article, I am taking some new turns beyond marketing and copywriting techniques.

In this, I am going to cover what I learned from Jim Kwik’s Book “Limitless”. It really opened my mind, the way I think, and the way I grasp things.

I know people make LIMITs in their minds, or someone told them to…. And then believe it is true. Beliefs are often revealed in our self-talk.?

Jim says, “How often do you stop yourself from attempting to do something or from pursuing a dream because the voice convinces you that it is beyond your scope?”

Come on! We all know how distracted we are in our Digital Lives……and mostly, I would say, people who are seeing an evolving world in front of their eyes. Because of the reasons:

  • We moved from word-of-mouth information to digital information in less than a century.

We are consuming an amount of information way larger than people used to have in 60’s

And We have less and less time…..in comparison to more and more information

  • We are always distracted by our phones. The connection is good, but how much?

As human being , I know we need some time to connect with nature and with ourselves….

But I don't think you are doing it

  • I was born in the 90s and I know the importance of the phone number because my Father told me to remember family telephone numbers as well as emergency contacts……

  • Because when I have a problem, I can go to the local PCO and call someone…… How many do you remember now?

And this is not just a JOKE…..its reality. With advancement, we are using less brain. And more and more people are stressed out.

  • Even if you are working from the office or from home , I am pretty sure most of the meetings will be happening on the online platforms, right?

This leads to the exhaustion and stress that can come from overusing digital devices, particularly in the context of video calls and virtual meetings. It's also known as "Zoom fatigue", named after the popular video conferencing platform.

Well, I am not here to make you more depressed. I am here to give you what I have learned from Jim Kwik. And it somehow increased my context; hoping it will increase yours too….

Jim mentioned the FASTER method to grasp something to the very core while learning something new ……

F- Forget : Forget what you already know , Forget what is not urgent and important and Forget your limitations

A - Act: If you make everything important, then nothing is important. You have to be actively involved in listening and checking.

S - State: Do you know your physiology and psychology are related. Change the poster to give you maximum benefit. Mostly sitting or standing will help.

T - Teach: Learning with intention of teaching

E -? Enter: If it is not on your calendar, then it will not be done. Take out a specific time.

R- Review: Going materials over an interval will increase retention.?

But do you understand what your body says? Your body will generally show symptoms, but not all the time you're sick. You just need to correct the environment and listen.

Why do all big-shot motivators keep on saying positive thinking, like Tony Robbins? Why do they always keep making you move?

  • Because it increases the lifespan, improves the heart , reduces the risk of death, and helps you develop coping skills,

Kwik often talks about the concept of "flow" in the context of learning and productivity. Flow, a term popularized by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, is a state of complete immersion and focus in an activity. It's often referred to as being "in the zone."

In a state of flow, you're fully engaged in what you're doing, and you lose awareness of all other things, including time.

It's a state of peak performance and heightened creativity where you can accomplish tasks with a high level of proficiency and enjoyment.

Okay , let me ask you a question… Do you know how to find FLOW? No problem , I will give you one :?

  1. Eliminate distractions?
  2. Give yourself enough time
  3. Do something you Love
  4. Have clear goals
  5. Change yourself…

If you are going to unlimit your brain, make sure you LISTEN. It is a crucial skill, but most of us are not good at it. This is the habit you can inculcate to become limitless. Also, while reading, you hear alpha music and have some scent that can help you recall things better.

Kwik provides techniques to improve reading speed and comprehension, such as minimizing subvocalization, using a visual pacer, and chunking (grouping text into chunks).

Techniques for improving memory include the Memory Palace technique (associating information with specific locations), the use of mnemonic devices, and the Story Method (creating a narrative to remember a list of items).

Well, I would definitely recommend someone read the book “Limitless” so that you can read more books…..

Do you know we have 3 damn brains…..yes you heard it right. And it's your responsibility to treat everything with great care and make them stronger and listen to them as well. Because you listen to what your head says……

  • Head Brain: This is the brain as we traditionally understand it, located in our skulls. It's responsible for cognitive functions such as thinking, perceiving, and understanding. It's the centre of our conscious awareness and is responsible for logic, reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving.

  • Heart Brain: The heart has its own complex nervous system. While it doesn't "think" in the way we traditionally understand it, the heart communicates with the brain in several ways: neurologically (through the transmission of nerve impulses), biochemically (via hormones and neurotransmitters), biophysically (through pressure waves), and energetically (through electromagnetic field interactions). This communication profoundly affects brain function and most of the body's major organs, and research is ongoing to understand these effects.

  • Gut Brain: Also known as the "enteric nervous system", the gut brain is a network of neurons lining our guts that is so extensive that some scientists have nicknamed it our "second brain". This second brain is filled with more than 100 million nerve cells, more than in the spinal column and the peripheral nervous system. It controls the gastrointestinal system and communicates back and forth with the head brain, playing a significant role in our physical and mental well-being.

While these "three brains" have different functions, they communicate and interact with each other in complex ways that researchers are still working to understand.

For example, changes in the gut-brain can impact the head-brain and contribute to mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. The heart-brain can influence emotional processing in the head-brain.

I know today was the most motivational kind of article…..but that's okay you got something new to Learn today, isn't it..
