Maybe someday IPCC will go really more for more climate-science than for more CO2-politics ...

Looking at 4 millennia history of global temperatures, we may expect the next half millennium to get cooler ... Each of the past 4 millennia had a warm cycle and a cold cycle.

Our present interglacial has been very stable, for more than 10 millennia, very stable compared to previous interglacials that were too hot or too unstable to last ...

For homo sapiens we are now in the second interglacial.

But 30 year ago, the Antarctic sea ice extend became larger than the Arctic sea ice extend ...

But why would the Arctic sea ice move south over the equator tropic oceans to the Antarctic ? Is the Antarctic a better place for sea ice ... better than the Arctic ?

Oceans can warm and oceans can cool ...

The peak of solar cycle 24 may have "short term warmed" all oceans but more in the Northern Hemisphere and in the Tropics and less in the Southern Hemisphere ...Although Southern Hemisphere has more oceans and Northern Hemisphere has more continental land ...

• The SPC="South Pole Center" has been measured to be in cooling mode : -1°C over the past 5 years or -0,2°C per year ...
• Antarctic sea ice extent has been measured to be gaining +0,8% per decade on the long term with +/-3,5% swing on the +0,8% steady slope :

North Atlantic Ocean is measured to be cooling too (Smeed et al. in 2018) ...

Probably the Arctic melting ice cubes, on the move from Arctic to the equator, cool the North Atlantic Ocean during the NH-summer in every summer/winter ice melt/freeze cycle ?
