The Next Generation of Graduates
The technology and IT sector is an industry continuing to grow, year on year.
The demand skills in these sectors are becoming more and more apparent in the workplace and as a result, our Universities are recognising this.

Ulster University, in particular, now offer more computing-related courses at undergraduate level, such as Computer Science, Computing Systems, Software Engineering and now also a degree in Artificial Intelligence.
The university also saw the need to introduce postgraduate programmes in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, working closely with employers in the industry and seeing that those burgeoning educational demands are being met.
By working closely with companies in the industry, it allows the share of knowledge to highlight what skills are needed and therefore allows the university to equip graduates with specialist and relevant skills.
The University are now also offering conversion courses for non-computing graduates to enable them to upskill and change their career and area of expertise.

Within the Northern Ireland tech sector, computer science and computing related graduates are key to our economy. ?It is great to see the Universities recognising the evolving demands and skills required in the industry and working with employers to ensure our graduates are as best prepared as possible.
