Next Generation Governance

Next Generation Governance

As a governance professional and enthusiast, I'm very excited to hear that @ICSA: The Governance Institute is launching research on how #millennial attitudes are reshaping #governance. Keen to be part of this debate at the launch event in September.

With the ever-changing political, technological, workplace and economic landscape, it's never been so key to place governance principles at the heart of every-day business to ensure solid foundations are set for sustainable future progression.

My communications and creative business, EXIMIA, was set up purely out of frustration - I felt I had great technical cosec and governance knowhow but didn't really know how to effectively communicate the benefits of good governance to my colleagues internally. So, I set out almost six years ago to make a difference and challenge the process. I wanted to help my peers suffering from the same frustrations I did - and by taking the steep learning curve I've navigated within the communications industry, alongside the support of an awesome and creative team, I'm able to achieve this.

We create communication campaigns about governance, which focus on making it more accessible and relatable, in turn helping to develop behavioural change and a positive culture that is connected to a company's values.

To all my governance professionals - do get involved in the ICSA initiative to get an ongoing conversation underway. We must collectively strive to go beyond box-ticking and future-proof governance. In my view #communications plays an integral role in this:
