The Next Chapter

It has been a big week for Puppet & Perforce as the acquisition announced last month officially closed; congratulations to all involved! This is an exciting milestone for the Puppet team and all of our amazing Puppet customers as the integration of Puppet into the Perforce family opens up new powerful opportunities to solve the hardest problems in DevOps — so nothing stalls innovation.

This week also is a big week for me as I have decided to start the next chapter of my own career; expanding my board and advisory work with public, private and non-profit/education focused organizations. My mission is to be a catalyst who inspires a shift in action and challenges leaders to lead in new ways; embracing empathy and inclusion as strengths. I believe leveraging technology and diversity together, leaders can achieve exponentially higher levels of impact and that has never been more important than now. With so many people concerned with how modern technology will be used, my focus is on championing its use to drive a safer, more equitable & innovative planet.? What has gotten us to where we are is insufficient to get us to where we need to be. My focus is to work with others to innovate how we educate the next generation of leaders and how we build and scale the world class companies of tomorrow.

When I joined Puppet as CEO over 3 years ago I knew the Puppet team was special, I just didn't fully appreciate how special. Over these last 3+ years we accomplished great things and navigated a variety of challenges together. Most importantly we showed up everyday as our authentic selves focused on being open, being transformation, and being for each other. I am thankful for all the memories, friendships and learnings. It is a bittersweet moment as I leave the Puppet team and yet I am excited what is next for the team and for me. And, I will always be Puppet Proud.
